Sergeant Bluff-Luton is still undefeated this season after their game against Dakota Valley on Saturday, but Dakota Valley came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Warriors came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Panthers. The four-run effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dakota Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Coming up, Sergeant Bluff-Luton will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lynx have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.75 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. Dakota Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
