Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Bear River back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fighting Zebras came up short against the Bruins, falling 3-0. The Fighting Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Lincoln ultimately came up short, they really made Bear River work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 37-35.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bear River, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will venture away from home to face off against Center at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Fighting Zebras are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bear River, they are taking a road trip to take on Westlake Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
