Basketball Recap: Alief Hastings Comes Up Short

Alief Hastings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of the George Ranch Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1069th, while the Longhorns are ranked 205th).

When it comes to explaining why Alief Hastings lost, don't look at David Temu. Despite the final result, he posted eight points.

Alief Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for George Ranch, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 21-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Alief Hastings nor George Ranch have any future games scheduled.
