Volleyball Recap: Waite Comes Up Short

Waite was the 3-1 winner over Start when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Spartans on Wednesday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Start scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Waite's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Start, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Waite will take on Rogers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Start, they will venture away from home to face off against Danbury at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
