Football Recap: Lapel Bulldogs vs. Indianapolis Lutheran Saints

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lapel had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints 38-7. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 28 points or more this season.

Devin Craig continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 347 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Brayden Parsley was Craig's top target, picking up 129 receiving yards and one score.

Lapel's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Will Gilbert, Mason Kenemer, and Ben Peterson, who each picked up one sack apiece.
