Clermont Northeastern proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Georgetown G-Men. The victory was familiar territory for Clermont Northeastern, who have now won three games in a row.

Clermont Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for Georgetown, they dropped their record down to 1-8-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
