Football Game Preview: Franklin Tornadoes vs. Raymond Rams

Franklin hasn't had much luck against Raymond recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tornadoes will square off against the Rams at 2:00 p.m. Franklin has given up an average of 37.8 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Franklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Newfound Regional on Saturday, falling 44-23.

Meanwhile, Raymond strolled past Farmington/Nute with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 24-6. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Raymond, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Franklin took a serious blow against Raymond in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 34-0. Can the Tornadoes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
