Basketball Recap: C.H. Yoe Yoemen vs. Lexington Eagles

C.H. Yoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 57-41 to the Lexington Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yoemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-22 back in January.

Lexington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alanna Mcfarlin, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 13 points along with eight steals and five assists. Mcfarlin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Bell, who went 8 of 18 en route to 16 points and five steals.

C.H. Yoe's loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Lexington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-8.

C.H. Yoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Burton at 5:00 p.m.
