Baseball Game Preview: Lakeridge Pacers vs. Tualatin Timberwolves

For the first time this season, Lakeridge will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to take on the Tualatin Timberwolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeridge is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Lakeridge didn't have quite enough to beat Sprague and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Tualatin faced Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Crusaders. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Tualatin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Lakeridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Lakeridge came up short against Tualatin in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 6-2. Can the Pacers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
