Baseball Recap: Palisades Takes a Loss

Palisades saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Covenant Day Lions. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palisades saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Rowland, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Covenant Day, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Palisades will challenge Legion Collegiate Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covenant Day, they will face off against Hopewell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
