Baseball Recap: Dalhart Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Dalhart barely beat River Road the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dalhart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Rios, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another was Braxton Akin, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

Dalhart pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for River Road, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
