Mount Calvary Christian Academy entered their tilt with Terra Ceia Christian on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Terra Ceia Christian Knights with a sharp 49-27 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hannah Rice out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 23 rebounds. Rice has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last 50 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Holly Jo Brick, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 50 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Terra Ceia Christian still got an impressive performance from Lakin Van Essendelft, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Hannah VanEssendelft, who posted eight points and four steals.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points per game. As for Terra Ceia Christian, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.
