Volleyball Game Preview: Scott Eagles vs. Holy Cross Indians

The Scott Eagles will challenge the Holy Cross Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Scott will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Scott made easy work of Montgomery County and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross earned a 2-0 win over Villa Madonna on Monday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Holy Cross was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14.

Holy Cross' win came from a few key players Scott will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Avery Sturgeon, who had nine digs and three assists.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Holy Cross, their win bumped their record up to 19-12.

Scott skirted past Holy Cross 2-1 when the teams last played back in August. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
