Football Recap: Ah'maad Scott Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hubbard

Mart won against Wortham last Friday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Hubbard Jaguars a 61-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won three matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mart's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ah'Maad Scott, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Scott has posted since back in November of 2024. Another signal caller making a difference was Ayden Lauderdale, who threw for 229 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes.

The win made it two in a row for Mart and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Hubbard, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
