Basketball Game Preview: Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays vs. Concordia Mustangs

The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays and the Concordia Mustangs will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ashland-Greenwood comes in on ten and Concordia on six.

Ashland-Greenwood is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 54-47 win over Lincoln Lutheran.

Meanwhile, Concordia was able to grind out a solid victory over Doniphan-Trumbull on Friday, taking the game 54-45.

Ashland-Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Concordia, their victory bumped their record up to 23-4.

Things could have been worse for Ashland-Greenwood, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-44 loss to Concordia when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Ashland-Greenwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
