Basketball Game Preview: New Richmond Tigers vs. Chippewa Falls Cardinals

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers duke it out with the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for New Richmond and ten for Chippewa Falls.

New Richmond came up short against River Falls on Thursday, falling 65-40.

Meanwhile, Chippewa Falls came up short against Wausau West on Monday and fell 64-53.

Chippewa Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for New Richmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

New Richmond came out on top in a nail-biter against Chippewa Falls in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 60-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Richmond since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
