Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ozark). They took down the Carthage Tigers 56-39 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Ozark as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ozark's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Carthage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ozark Tigers challenge the Neosho Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Carthage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nixa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nixa will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Carthage surely won't give up without a fight.
