Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lakeview barely beat Seward the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings put the hurt on the Bluejays with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bluejays, too.

Lakeview was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.

Rallie Boyer paced Lakeview's offense, picking up 14 kills. Boyer got some help from Grace Dawson and her 23 assists.

The win was the third in a row for Lakeview, bringing their record up to 3-0. As for Seward, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Lakeview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bishop Neumann on the 6th. As for Seward, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Platteview on the 13th.
