Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Anahuac Panthers and fell 45-14. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 26-12 to the Panthers when the teams met back in November of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Anahuac, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on O'Connell at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. Anahuac will take on East Chambers in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
