Soccer Game Preview: New Caney vs. Vidor

The New Caney Eagles will face off against the Vidor Pirates at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

New Caney fell victim to West Brook and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins.

Meanwhile, Vidor also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against East Chambers on Friday, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Vidor and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for New Caney, they now have a losing record at 0-1-1.
