Recap: McKinley Tech Trainers vs. Bard Falcons
The McKinley Tech Trainers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bard 54-3 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win McKinley Tech has managed all season.
McKinley Tech found their leader in underclassman Jemima Bomoyi, who scored 18 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Bomoyi has scored at least 25% of McKinley Tech's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaire Johnson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
McKinley Tech pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.33 points. As for Bard, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinley Tech will be home for the holidays to greet KIPP DC Legacy College Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bard will be home for the holidays to greet Roosevelt at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
