Recap: Jamestown Eagles vs. Poquoson Islanders
The Jamestown Eagles posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Poquoson 69-41 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Jamestown.
Poquoson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dominic Galacgac, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Dayne Galacgac, who scored ten points.
Jamestown has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Poquoson, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jamestown will take on Warhill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Warhill is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Poquoson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against York at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
