Soccer Recap: Shelby Comes Up Short

Shelby saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huss Huskies. Shelby have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Matthew Grenier, which was the first he's scored this season.

Shelby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Huss, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Shelby is taking a road trip to challenge Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huss, they will take on South Point in a tournament on Wednesday.
