 Lake Center Christian is 4-0 against Central Christian since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Lake Center Christian Tiger will head out on the road to  face off against  the Central Christian Comets at 5:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake Center Christian has four straight  victories, Central Christian has seven straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Lake Center Christian stacked  a  fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over Firestone. While fans of Lake Center Christian might be used to big wins, the ten-run margin marked the team's biggest  win yet this season.
  Nathan Byryant was a major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Byryant was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brayden Myers was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Jacob Spickard, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Central Christian had to start their season on the road  last Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. Their  tough  11-0 defeat to Keswick Christian  might stick with them for a while.
 Lake Center Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Central Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Lake Center Christian took their  win against Central Christian  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2023 by a conclusive  11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Center Christian since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
