Fort Bend Kempner entered their tilt with Warren Easton on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 59-43 victory over the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 433rd in Texas, while the Fighting Eagles are ranked 95th in Louisiana).

Fort Bend Kempner's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landen Parker, who posted ten points and six rebounds. Isaiah Washington was another key player, putting up 11 points.
