Basketball Recap: Central Woodstock Takes a Loss

After flying high against Stonewall Jackson last Monday, Central Woodstock came back down to earth. The Central Woodstock Falcons lost to the Strasburg Rams on the road by a 59-40 margin on Friday. The Falcons have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Central Woodstock's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Strasburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

While Central Woodstock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
