Softball Recap: Baldwin's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Baldwin was riding high fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Academy-Notre Dame De Namur last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears lost 12-3 to the William Penn Charter Quakers on Tuesday. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Addison Milner was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Bella Murray was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Baldwin fell to 3-1. As for William Penn Charter, they moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin will welcome Archbishop Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for William Penn Charter, they will host Germantown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
