Basketball Recap: Blooming Grove Takes a Loss

Blooming Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 82-37 loss at the hands of the Grandview Zebras. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 779th, while the Zebras are ranked 161st).

Blooming Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Grandview, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Blooming Grove Lions duke it out with the Maypearl Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grandview, they will take on Scurry-Rosser at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
