Colerain piles up the points against Northwest

The Colerain Cardinals had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 58-13 win over Northwest on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Colerain also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.

Alana Miller was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Kalia Johnson, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.

Colerain's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colerain will square off against Ursuline Academy at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to face off against Shroder Paideia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
