Polytechnic can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wyatt Chaparrals by a score of 8-5. This was a revenge game for the Parrots: when they faced off against the Chaparrals back in February, they had to take a 8-1 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Tomas Sanchez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Jorge Arredondo, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Polytechnic's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-13-1. As for Wyatt, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Polytechnic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chaparrals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
