East Nashville Magnet had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-6, 25-7.

Avery Morris was the offensive standout of the game as she had six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.
