3A Conference 13 recap November 13, 2013
Cleveland added to the longest winning streak in 3A Conference 13 this week by beating Western Harnett, 35-16. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Rams.
Smithfield-Selma and South Johnston played the closest game in the league this week, with Smithfield-Selma eventually emerging with a 22-21 victory.
Triton's dynamic duo of Jeremy Leggett and Matthew Webb proved to be unstoppable against Corinth Holders, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Leggett threw for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and Webb had 51 yards receiving. Todd Penny helped Triton's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 51 yards.
Tim McNeill made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Hawks topped Corinth Holders. He recorded 1 fumble and grabbed 1 sack.
Isaac Martin was a force in the backfield as Cleveland beat the Eagles.
