Volleyball Game Preview: Central Davidson Spartans vs. Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals

The Central Davidson Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Central Davidson lost 3-0 to Phoenix Academy on Thursday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Central Davidson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Triad Math and Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of John Yowell Academy.

Triad Math and Science Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made John Yowell Academy work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 23-25, 25-20.

Triad Math and Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Central Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
