Baseball Recap: Racine Case Takes a Loss

Racine Case made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Oak Creek, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on Tuesday.

Ben Neimeyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Racine Case is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10. As for Oak Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

While Racine Case had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
