Basketball Game Preview: Gulfport Admirals vs. D'Iberville Warriors

The Gulfport Admirals will take on the D'Iberville Warriors in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gulfport is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Gulfport didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 71-43 victory over St. Martin. The Admirals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, D'Iberville lost a heartbreaker to Ocean Springs when they met back in January, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. D'Iberville fell 46-34 to Ocean Springs. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Gulfport pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.5 points. As for D'Iberville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.
