Volleyball Recap: Dunedin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Dunedin was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clearwater last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Seminole Warhawks on Tuesday. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warhawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Dunedin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-17.

Isobel Maclean-Eltham paced Dunedin's offense, picking up five kills. Maclean-Eltham also shared the team's lead in assists with Emmorie Barnes: they picked up eight each. Barnes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Dunedin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Seminole, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Dunedin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Gibbs on the 16th. As for Seminole, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Largo on the 11th.
