General Brown waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 52-39 victory over the Indian River Wolves. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Wolves back in January, they had to take a 44-33 defeat.

Indian River's loss came despite strong showings from Layla Whyte and Allison LaMora. Whyte posted nine points and eight rebounds, while LaMora dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards. LaMora has been hot recently, having also posted three or more blocks the last four times she's played. Lillian Walsh was another key player, putting up nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.

General Brown's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Indian River, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

General Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian River, they will face off against Fayetteville-Manlius at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
