On Monday Taylor Burkhart pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Burkhart has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with more than five strikeouts. This season, she has an ERA of 3.97 over 54.7 innings pitched.
