Football Recap: Covina Colts vs. Northview Vikings
Covina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 32-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northview Vikings.
Isabella Barela and Isabell Ramirez certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Barela threw for 286 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of her passes, while Ramirez picked up 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Northview, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Covina will square off against Charter Oak at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northview, they will take on Rowland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
