Baseball Recap: Rockcastle County Gets the Win

Rockcastle County won the last time they faced Harlan County and things went their way on Friday too. The Rockets walked away with an 11-7 win over the Black Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Rockcastle County let Zeke Fain and Phoenix Pittman run wild. Fain scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Pittman scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Caden Lovell was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

The victory got Rockcastle County back to even at 4-4. As for Harlan County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockcastle County will welcome Boyle County at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Harlan County, they will take on Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
