Basketball Recap: Ellsworth Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ellsworth walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over the Kingman Eagles on Thursday. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Eagles are ranked 236th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ellsworth has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Kingman and nudges their season record down to 6-15.

As of now, neither Ellsworth nor Kingman have any future games scheduled.
