Softball Recap: Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons Comes Up Short

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Madelia Blackhawks. Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons was not able to make up for their loss to Madelia from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilah Reindal, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Madison Hendrickson also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Madelia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons will take on Lyle/Pacelli at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madelia, they will head out to square off against Martin County West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
