Basketball Recap: Marsing Takes a Loss

Marsing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Melba Mustangs, falling 52-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-36 on January 8th.

Despite the loss, Marsing still got an impressive performance from Kelsey Parkins, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Marsing's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Melba, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing The Ambrose School the next time they take the court. Marsing will head out to face The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Melba will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
