Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Houghton Lake). They claimed a resounding 63-32 win over the Tawas Area Braves. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Houghton Lake and bumps their season record up to 7-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points over those games. As for Tawas Area, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Houghton Lake will take on Roscommon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roscommon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season. As for Tawas Area, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-31 defeat against Heston Academy on the 11th.
