Basketball Recap: New Albany Wins Going Away Against Byers

New Albany had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Byers Lions 63-44.

Lynleigh Tatum had an outrageously good game as she went 10-for-15 en route to 22 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre'Anna Jones, who posted nine points and four steals.

Byers is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

New Albany has already played their next game, a 39-26 victory against Calhoun City on the 15th. As for Byers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-48 win against Jumpertown on the 14th.
