Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Redwood Valley). They blew past the Blue Earth Buccaneers 17-5 on Thursday. Considering the Cardinals have won three matches by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Ava Meier was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 Meier wasn't the only one making solid contact: Redwood Valley  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blue Earth only managed six  hits.
The  victory  got Redwood Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Blue Earth,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Coming up, Redwood Valley will take on Luverne at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Blue Earth, they will challenge Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
