Kingsford put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Calumet Copper Kings by a score of 5-0. For the Flivvers, this counts as revenge for the 15-3 victory the Copper Kings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Not much got past Mya Brunswick, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Calumet off the board. Brunswick has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Addy Kriegl and Anna Bortolini did most of the damage at the plate: Kriegl went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Bortolini went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Sylvia Sutton, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Kingsford's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Calumet, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Copper Kings beat Kingsford by a score of 5-4 later that day.
