Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gallia Academy). They were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over the River Valley Raiders on Tuesday. While the Blue Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Colbie Nida was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Gallia Academy got a massive performance out of Ava Angel, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Chloe Bennett was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.
