E.E. Smith is a perfect 10-0 against Overhills since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls will host the Overhills Jaguars at 7:00 p.m.

E.E. Smith is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Westover on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. E.E. Smith came up short against Westover, falling 59-34. The Golden Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Alonnie Baldwin - Muldrow, who posted 11 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Davis, who had six points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, E.E. Smith smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 13 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Overhills had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-50 W against the Trojans.

E.E. Smith better focus on containing Paris Autry and Najiha Allen as the pair were huge in Overhills' win. Autry went 8-for-13 on her way to 24 points, while Allen went 7-for-14 to rack up 20 points along with six boards and five steals. The contest was Allen's third in a row with at least 20 points. Unique Cooke was another key player, putting up four points in addition to 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Overhills' win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for E.E. Smith, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

E.E. Smith barely slipped by Overhills when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 49-48. Does E.E. Smith have another victory up their sleeve, or will Overhills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
