Soccer Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

If Geneva was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Conneaut on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the South Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Geneva haven't had much luck with South recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Geneva's goal came courtesy of Julia Fallon, who's now up to ten this season.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for South, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South, they will welcome Mayfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
